Ayant été choisie pour faire partie de l'équipe de la Société des Arts et Sciences pour préparer la publication des manuscrits des papiers Doyen, documents datant du début du 19e siècle sur l'histoire de l'Ile Maurice, et offerts par les descendants de cet auteur à la Société en 1953, j'ai eu l'immense privilège de travailler avec David Tin comme IT Manager.

Par ses compétences, David a su donner un aspect vivant á tout le travail transcris, afin de l'insérer sur la Toile d'une façon intelligente, facilement utilisable et agréable à voir. La conception du travail et la mise en ligne est entière de lui ainsi que tous les outils pour les innombrables recherches sur ce site. Ce fut un travail laborieux, dépassant souvent les aspects de son contrat. "I am so glad to OPDA Consulting for assisting us to meet a critical deadline for a project of national importance – the celebrations of the bicentenary of the Battle of Grand Port. We urgently needed a website developer to complete two different sites within a specific time frame !

The deadline was approaching, especially the one where the Anniversary date was a fixed set date , the funds were engaged already. OPDA very competently took over all our preoccupations , quietly and quickly surveyed the work done, assessed the progress so far, and proposed to complete the website at the date we badly needed it !!!
